Wooden solitaire - Made in Jura

This wooden solitaire game is a thinking and strategy game for a single player. It consists of a circular board with 33 locations.

The goal of solitaire is to remove marbles from the board by making them "jump" over each other, similar to a checkers capture, and only in a straight line. Each time a marble jumps over another, the marble that was jumped is removed from the board. Play continues until no more moves can be made, with the goal being to leave as few marbles as possible on the board, ideally with a single remaining marble positioned in the center of the board.

An entertaining pastime and good exercise for the mind, but also a beautiful piece of French craftsmanship.
